  The Lighthouse is a truly fantastic holiday apartment just moments away from the sea front. The open plan layout provides lots of natural light and sea views. This stylish apartment has panelled walls and sound proofed floors, providing a pristine haven with all the comfort and space needed for relaxing and unwinding, or having a fun packed sea side holiday. The Lighthouse holds an independent 4 **** rating with Visit England. It forms part of Suffolk House and can be booked together with The Pier, The Blyth and or The Cannons. Please note that The Lighthouse also has a sofa bed, travel cot and high chair. A fantastic holiday apartment with everything you need.

Southwold Beach and Pier are a must. The Pier has a wonderful traditional arcade along with the infamous 'Under The Pier' show, and the beach is just stunning. Southwold has several lovely restaurants, and we can recommend Coasters and Sutherland House. The Crown Hotel also serves great pub food. The Sole Bay Inn, literally just around the corner at the end of Stradbroke Road serves great pub food all day. The Sole Bay Fish Company, a fantastic ‘rustic’ seafood restaurant can also be found near the mouth of the River Blyth heading on foot towards Walberswick. Both pubs in Walberswick offer great food, and the rowing boat ‘ferry’ is also a fun experience. This is also the best spot for crabbing.

The closest train stations can be found approximately 9 miles away in the villages of Darsham and Halesworth. There are also several local taxi firms. There are two bicycle hire shops on the corner of Station Road and Blyth Road, with some lovely off road cycle paths to enjoy over the marshes towards Walberswick. The nearest petrol stations are both approximately 9 miles away, and can be found in the villages of either Halesworth or Darsham. Days out for the children include Pleasurewoodhills Theme Park, Framlingham Castle and boat hire at the Waveney River Centre. Numerous bus services also run from the town and pier.
